Foodtech Packtech 2018
Romheld Automation stand 3102 at Foodtech Packtech, Auckland, 18-20 September
A huge event for over 20 years predicted to attract 4,500 visitors, Foodtech Packtech is the place to be in NZ if you’re in food manufacturing, packaging and processing technology.
We’ve been at this biennial event since 2012 when we introduced many European and North American technical innovations for gripping and handling systems. Romheld Automation continues to bring the latest, greatest End of Arm Tooling systems and solutions to the Southern Hemisphere. We’re at Stand 3102: Here’s a quick look at what’s on offer for 2018…
Unigripper: Swedish innovation has always been a hallmark of UniGripper. We are bringing their intelligent vacuum grippers to the show so visitors can try them on different products. Today Unigripper has become the new standard in material handing as the most effective and universal vacuum tool on the market. UniGripper project engineers have a lot of experience solving the most difficult applications and use their knowledge to customise UniGripper products to fit your needs. Get an overview here of the Unigripper Intelligent Vacuum Grippers.
Soft Robotics: These unique soft, adaptive grippers are winning awards and getting a lot of attention as a technology breakthrough. Inspired by the smooth, fluid arms of an octopus, these clever soft blue grippers are an ideal direct-contact food handling solution for most fresh food and other delicate products previously unable to be handled successfully. SAS Automation: Masters of bag grippers, fork grippers and clamping style grippers, SAS Automation creates over 129,000 automation components. One of our strengths is to help put together the right combination of EOAT options for palletising bags and boxes and come up with good solutions for food handling and plastics industries. Goudsmit Magnetics: Still a global leader in magnetic grippers (since 1959), this family-owned company in the Netherlands comes up with incredible solutions for industrial magnets and magnetic grippers. For pallets and material handling where magnetic solutions are best –even lifting up to 600kgs– you’re likely to find a production product from Goudsmit Magnetics.
Schunk: We offer a full range of Schunk products and their Gripper Systems are certainly one of our best-sellers. Not only are they versatile for robot and automated handling systems, they can adapt to almost any workpiece configuration from universal to miniature grippers and plenty in between.
