HEIMATEC GmbH.
Precision angle heads from Heimatec in Germany offer machine operators the ability to get more work done in a single set-up.
Heimatec offers a complete range of standard and custom built angle heads to suit all CNC machine types, including spindle configurations BT40 and BT50, HSK and SK.
The use of angle heads allows for drilling, tapping and milling operations to be done on the sides of a workpiece so that jobs can be completed in just one set-up. The most common type of angle head is the fixed 90 degree version, however adjustable angle types are also available to cope with jobs where different angles may be required. Several toolholding options are offered including the popular ER collet style.
In addition, Heimatec can provide angle heads which incorporate a quick-change system. This extremely flexible system allows the toolholder to be changed for different jobs, for instance from an ER sytle collet to a milling arbor or weldon holder.
Angle heads can be loaded to the tool magazine of your machining centre for automatic tool changing via the ATC.
