Compliant radial and axial deburring tools can be used in CNC machines to remove burrs and create chamfers at high speeds.

ATI-Industrial Automation offers a range of radially compliant CNC deburring tools which are designed for removal of parting lines and flash.  These tools incorporate an air turbine motor and have adjustable radial compliance.

Speedeburr offers a range of axially compliant CNC deburring tools which are designed for edge deburring and chamfering.   These tools use a vane motor and have a free floating piston to provide the axial compliance.

CNC deburring tools follow the programmed path and accomodate deviations due to casting surface tolerances and imperfections etc.
